Gold swap (OSRS ↔ RS3)

RSBazaar runs a gold swap system that Eldorado-style general marketplaces often do not: trade OSRS gold for RS3 gold (or RS3 → OSRS) through a dedicated hub. It is not the same product as normal currency listings (those use on-site checkout, wallet, card, and crypto — see Buying gold & currency).

Who may list

You may create swap listings when any of these is true: $50+ lifetime donated as a supporter (donor role), seller level 3+ (see Seller fees & levels), or a staff donor-tier override (trust lever — bypasses numeric gates by design). The seller console at Manage swap offers enforces this server-side.

Smart swap (rates derived from your live OSRS and RS3 gold offers) additionally requires $300+ lifetime donated as a supporter — seller level alone does not unlock Smart mode. Building donor history is covered in Donations & donor rank.

What RSBazaar does and does not cover

• Does: show eligible swap offers, world/rate/delivery metadata, Smart or manual pricing modes where enabled, and a swap thread chat to coordinate.
• Does not: take custody of either side’s gold, escrow in-game trades, or replace in-game trade risk. Copy on the hub states clearly: RSBazaar does not hold swap funds — the exchange is a direct in-game trade between you and the counterparty after you coordinate in the thread.

Buyer flow

1. Open the hub: Gold swap.
2. Choose direction: OSRS → RS3 or RS3 → OSRS.
3. Pick a listing from an eligible seller, read rate, min/max, stock, and delivery notes (defaults are oriented around in-game trade).
4. Start or continue a swap thread so world, timing, and amounts are agreed before you meet in-game.
5. Active swap activity may also show under Orders alongside other marketplace history — it still does not mean we escrow the gold.

Seller flow

1. Confirm you meet the listing requirement ($50+ supporter or level 3+ or staff override), then use Manage swap offers to create or pause listings per direction. For Smart mode, also meet the $300+ supporter rule and keep one live OSRS and one live RS3 gold offer with stock.
2. Honour the in-game delivery method you advertise; keep proof-oriented habits (screenshots, agreed worlds) in the thread where reasonable.
3. Smart swap vs manual labels on listings reflect how the rate is derived — trust the live card text.

Safety

• Treat swap threads like high-risk trades: verify who you are dealing with, agree worlds and exact amounts in chat first, and walk away from pressure tactics.
• Read Avoiding scams. For disputes that are not covered the same way as wallet-backed checkout, contact Live support or Support with thread references and timestamps.
