Zezima confirmation word

Quick answer

Set a separate confirmation word in Account settings → Zezima controls before asking Zezima to apply supported changes. Enter it only in the dedicated settings or confirmation-card field, never as a normal chat message.

Set the word

1. Sign in and open Zezima controls.
2. Enter a memorable word or phrase of at least 6 characters in the new-word field.
3. Keep it different from your account password and security codes.
4. Select Set word and wait for the saved confirmation.

The saved word is not displayed back to you.

Use a confirmation card

Ask Zezima for a supported change, such as turning off in-page marketplace sounds. Read the card's proposed change and facts. Enter your word in its Zezima confirmation word field, then select the confirmation control or Cancel prepared action when offered.

Only confirm the change you intended. An expired proposal, changed account state, or eligibility rule can prevent the action. Read the result and check the saved setting; a chat request alone does not apply it.

What this can authorize

Supported changes include eligible usernames, optional email, forum and marketplace alert preferences, sounds, selected site preferences, and entitled profile effects. Eligible sellers can also confirm a supported pause or resume of one owned auction.

The word does not authorize purchases, bids, refunds, payouts, fund movements, delivery confirmation, seller approval, security changes, moderation decisions, or another user's account.

Replace or remove it

Return to Zezima controls and use either your Current word or Current account password to authorize the update or removal. If you forgot the word, use your account password. A provider-only account without a local password can set one through Security first.

Never reuse or disclose passwords, one-time codes, recovery codes, or payment secrets. Contact Support if the secure settings form cannot complete the change.
