Open Public profile in Account settings to manage your username, avatar, public description, and eligible profile presentation. Preview the result before saving.

Username

Choose a name you are comfortable using on listings, forums, messages, and feedback. The site checks format, availability, account restrictions, and the change window.

Usernames can currently be changed once every 60 days. If a change is locked, the page shows the next available date. A taken name cannot be reserved or forced through Zezima.

Avatar

Standard avatars accept JPEG, PNG, or WebP up to 2 MB. Accounts with the eligible $50+ donor rank can use animated GIF avatars and the higher 10 MB limit. Follow the live upload message for your account.

Choose the image, use the available crop or preview controls, and save it. Uploading a file does not grant donor entitlement. If it fails, check the format, size, and the account's eligibility before retrying.

Description and background

Keep your public description clear and relevant. Do not include passwords, private contact or delivery information, payment secrets, or account-recovery details.

Eligible $50+ donors can use the richer profile presentation and background controls shown. Background images currently support JPG, PNG, WebP, or animated GIF up to 20 MB. Preview the layout and fit before saving; a background's limit is separate from the avatar limit.

Effects and trust signals

Profile effects depend on your staff, donor, or loyalty entitlement and the preference you select. An effect or badge does not replace seller verification or guarantee a trade outcome.

If a change does not save

Read the result, refresh the page to check the saved value, and contact Support with the public error text if necessary. Zezima can explain eligibility or prepare an eligible username change through its confirmation card, but it cannot upload images, bypass a cooldown, or unlock an unavailable rank.
