How to report forum content, understand forum restrictions, and use the appeal route safely.
Reviewed July 2026
Use the Report button on the affected forum thread or reply when content looks like spam, harassment, impersonation, malicious links, scam risk, off-platform payment, fake vouching, wrong category, or another rule issue. Use the Forum moderation center in Account settings for your own forum warnings, restrictions, expiry dates, and appeal status.
Reports are private. Other users cannot see who reported the content, the private report note, or protected moderation details.
Forum warnings or restrictions can limit posting, editing, voting, reporting, or other community actions for a period shown on your account. Follow the visible page message and do not create another account to bypass the restriction.
Open Account settings and use the Forum moderation center for account-safe details. That view can show your visible reason, status, expiry, and appeal updates without exposing private moderation details.
If an active forum warning or restriction can be appealed, the appeal control appears in the Forum moderation center. Write a short appeal that explains what was missed, what changed, and any public context moderators should consider. Submit one clear appeal and wait for the moderation outcome.
If the Forum moderation center is unavailable or the issue depends on account access, use Support with the public restriction text and safe account details.
Zezima can explain which official route to use, help draft concise report wording, explain what a visible restriction message means, and help prepare public-safe appeal wording.
Zezima cannot ban, unban, delete, restore, hide, reveal reporter identity, show private moderation details, lift restrictions, or submit moderation actions from chat.
Send a short on-site note if something is unclear or outdated. Staff can review it from the Help Centre console.
